Materials

Client is responsible for the cost of all materials used and/or requested

Digital session and audio file backups, Logic Pro session exports and prep work, CD-R, cassette, and other duplication services provided by Frequency Farm Recording Studio outside of regularly booked sessions will be billed at hourly rate plus media costs.

Please note: all session hard drives, multi-track tapes, master mixes, computer session files, analog and digital safeties and related materials remain the property of Frequency Farm Recording Studio until client balances are paid in full and until receipt of goods by client. Balances are due and payable on the day of the session and all accounts are c.o.d. unless other arrangements are made in advance with Bailey Park Studio.

Backup: Digital usage and storage have become major issues for studios and clients. Due to the unreliable nature of this digital world, we cannot guarantee the safe use or storage of digital audio files. We strive to do our best with audio file manipulation and storage, but there are many things out of our control. For example there are sometimes “bugs” in operating systems and attendant software; hardware components that suddenly become defective in hard drive power supplies; glitches in the operations of complex computer functions, etc., that can cause losses in data or clicks and pops in audio. Although such losses are infrequent, Bailey Park Studio accepts no liability for the usage or storage of any data or audio files.

It is necessary for every client to provide backup for digital audio file storage.

Frequency Farm Recording Studio is not responsible for educating or instructing client on care and storage of digital data and media, or any data, media or client files lost or corrupted while stored on studio hard drives. Please note, as well, that files will be stored for no more than 30 days following completion of the session.

Studio Guidelines/Rules:
I’m generally not a fan of rules, and some of these are pretty common sense, but you’d be surprised. So, here we go…

The studio is located in my home, please be respectful of the property and animals.
Please, stay on the driveway with vehicles unless otherwise directed.
Watch your step, there are mic cables in their wild habitat.
No smoking cigarettes on the property. They cause cancer, and stink.
No food or drink on or around equipment. Umm, yeah.
Do not handle equipment unless given permission. This means even mic stands. If you need it moved, please ask.
If you are allergic to dogs or cats, this may not be the studio for you. We do offer mobile recording as well.
Couple o’ brews is cool, shots is not.
Bring everything you need to your session, lyrics, extra strings, sticks, etc.
If you need anything, feel free to ask. This goes for something to drink, munchies, more/less of something in your headphones. Just let me know what you need.
